why on EARTH did you get Level 1 seats? All the fun happens in the standing bit on the ground floor? I know - but with my dodgy pelvis, and hubby's gouty foot, we can't take all that standing. Make a good pair, don't we? Besides, he doesn't really like DG, so he needs the option of nodding off for a couple of hours... ;D

Gouty foot, isn't that nasty? not if you mean that it oozes stinky fluids - it has to do with crystals forming in a joint (usually a toe) making it EVER so painful to walk or move the joint even the teeeeniest tiiiiiniest movement can make you want to SCREAM!! and tear your hair out Not that I've ever had it or anything - but I have been falsely accused of it because i have had similar pain in my feet on occasions.

Thank you for that very thorough explanation Starry. ;D It can be treated effectively by taking celery seed tablets; unfortunately they make your pee green!

Chris, probably...

Post by Starry on Jul 27, 2005 3:33:00 GMT -1
;D Chris, probably... Heh heh heh! but you know, I hadn't really taken into account that it's not the same for guys because they have to piss out in the open - urinals are not the most private of facilities - - I guess it would be entirely conceivable that someone using an adjoining urinal might do just that "ewww = get a load of THAT guy- he's got green piss AND he smells oddly of celery!" It could possibly lead to social alienation. So if faced with the choice of gouty feet and green piss I would definately go with the green stuff. but for a guy i can see how the choice might be a big decision ;D

You girls really have no idea what the consequences of having green pee are for a man in a public toilet! He would be subject to endless ridicule and shame the likes of which you couldn't appreciate! However, I am a man who focuses firmly on the wall in front of me whilst visiting the lav! However if I did notice, I'd try to keep it down to a polite snigger ;D

How classically English is that? ;D
"Oh look, my peeing neighbour has radioactive green pee. How bizarre. I'll just keep my head down and have a little chuckle to myself". ;D
And it's amazing how excited we are about going to see DG again. From David Gray to green pee in a few short posts!

I was very definitely describing how a modern male human type person might be ridiculed for having green pee - the social ostracization that could occur - ooohhh the horror! so ner!
