I have just carted three under-4s around Bluewater, given them lunch, bought them all a book each, summer hats, t-shirts hairclips and a new frock for Freya, a pair of Doodle shoes for Henry, changed the boys twice, taken Freya to the loo three times gone up and down lifts - and still managed to grap a quiet half-hour in Waterstone's perusing the Photography section!!!!
I am not useless!

Well I'm definitely not going now. Was just about to book my ticket when the other half pipes up "Oh and by the way, I'm going to America for a week from the 19th for a work thing." Fucking gutted, you guys. Bang go all of my plans to do anything fun this lifetime.

Oh no! You should've got in there first, slow coach! If you'd booked your tickets when Daveywave and me did... Ah well we'll try reeeeeally hard not to enthuse too greatly about the fucking fanfuckingtastic time we're going to have. I might not be coming with Sandy now, he thinks he may have to work. I might, therefore, have a free ticket and free first-class train travel (my sis's bloke gets free tickets) to offer one of my mates. It's my friend jayni's birthday the day before (21st) and she loves the Femmes, so if sandy can't make it she might have a lovely birthday surprise! Oy! Dave! We'll have to arrange a meet-up. My train gets in just before 1, so I'll be there from 2 when it all starts. Looking forward to Ray. Way hay!!

Right. I'm meeting you off the train and we'll head straight for a pub to get ourselves suitably refreshed for the fest. That is assuming, of course, that my FUCKING TICKET EVER ARRIVES!

I'd rather go camping than be stuck at home with the kids for five days with no husband...

You WILL do something fun in this lifetime... in fact, I'd assume that the Mr. would be wise to plan something wonderful with so many hours to think in solitude on the plane. .. Where's he gonna be? NY?

Caught some of this on TV yesterday, think it was on E4 but I can't remember. Damn good from DG and Massive Attack, whom I have rather got into of late and purchased their Collections album today.
