ooOOoo, great idea. I haven't tried the YouTube feature yet, but I'll give it a try. Let's see ...
no frills, but this one of Bruce is so, so good:
and here's my personal favorite Eddi Reader performance, pardon the bit of advertising in the front:

so nice to see Tracy again, too - I love that early one where she looked so nervous, then came that gorgeous smile at the end as if she was thinking yes!! I nailed it!!

funny, I had the same thought - I've heard the name, but can't place a song.
Found this rather cool one last night, I used to be a big Robert Palmer fan before he got all ... er, whatever, with the robotic girls and all that.

oh. says vid is no longer available, bluey. what track is it? delgados belong to the bands of merry lofi lush. pushers of perversity and subtle acerbic wit they knit together with sweet orchestral and choral arrangements. vocals flitting between boy and girl, songwriting duties between the lota them. 'peloton' probably good place to start. 'the great eastern' fine too, as it 'hate'; the latter boasting necessary reflections on mental illness heh heh. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIfZZ1cQZss&feature=relatedwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip5rpaVStxs&feature=related

really, marg? it's still working for me, and I think the provider was Universal so it seems to be an official post. It's Johnny and Mary - www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcYOnrb4fOkand that description of the delgados sounds irresistible!

Ohhh. Nothing to do here but smack my own head. This file already existed, just had to go digging somwhere within the void. Yep, on board. Todd's a big, big deal in Chicago, actually. I like him well enough- saw him years ago, too. Not my favorite of all-time, but good.

can't beat aul youtube for jigging the memory.
bluey, were you a fan of 'the bible'? the lovely honey-voiced boo hewerdine went on to become guitarist-in-chief with eddie reader. he's up there above. 'graceland' was nice, though think i prefer 'honey be good'. both on youtube. such a gorgeous voice.

It was used to great effect in the closing scenes of The Sopranos....and subsequently re-entered the Irish charts on downloads. Bizarre.
I don't remember it first time around, of course.

Now the video is back, and I watched it all, and I still have no idea who it is, nor have I ever heard that song in my life. Honestly.
