The Wicker Man - original. Deadly spooky shit. Certainly not the remake version from a few years ago, although I could have sworn I read that Angelo Badalamenti scored that?
On that note, Twin Peaks soundtrack. On a TP buzz at the moment and the music < cheesy statement > is like another character < /end cheesy statement>

ah if you're talking soundtracks then *rubs hands in anticipation*.yer man priesner did magnificent stuff with the bould krsystof kiweslowski. michael nyman's piano is fucking marvellous, peter greenaway didn't do a bad aul job on the pillowbook, and gabriel yard's betty blue still stands up to scrutiny. and lest we forget de de de de de de de de *sea, children splashing about merrily* de de de de de

The Mission soundtrack's a good 'un too. Good call on Twin Peaks, neon. Bought the first series box set a while ago but still haven't watched it. Must make a flask and a packed lunch some day and get stuck in....
What about the piano piece yer man plays in The Lives of Others while the stasi guy listens on up in the attic? Pretty intense.

ah what a call. lives of others....film of the decade for me, but have to give the most powerful scene with a piano piece over to adrien brody's rendition for the stasi officer in 'the pianist' hope and humanity collide.

I'm in the middle of Season Two at the moment Michael, it's top stuff. Gets progressively weirder. Have also developed a fascination with Kyle MacLachlan. Pity he gets cool points deducted for appearances in Desperate Fishwives.

Ah season two's totally mad. It's like they give him free reign to dream up whatever weird shit he wanted. Class craic.
Didn't know it was out on DVD now as well. That's another day's work with some damn fine blueberry pie for me.
Bob still scares me mind.....

can't remember to be honest. david thewlis was brilliant i thought, and i like the twist on the title via a misunderstanding. don't think i could watch it again mind you.
cal has a lovely score though. mark knopler at production panel. though i don't think that's how you spell knopler. but i've had a thing for john lynch ever since.
