It could very well be my PC, bit I seem to be having a few problems where once I've looked in 1 or 2 threads the site seems to lock out on me and I have to close out of it and start again. Also, happens when I post. This is not however happening on other sites I visit (yes, you're not the only ones)
Is it me?

I think it might be your PC. I'm having a similar problem myself with another site that I visit. It keeps shutting on me, yet doesn't happen anywhere else Let me check the status of the server from the people who host this site and I'll get back to you.

Okay, according to Proboards, the server is working perfectly normally.
If anyone else is having a similar problem, can you let me know.
In the meantime, I'm not sure what to suggest, Johnny. I'm not the most technical tool in the box so don't really know what could be causing it.

Maybe that's not long enough.

I was getting logged out too, a couple of days ago, and had to re-log-in every time I came to the board. I always leave it at 6 hours, so that wasn't the issue. It's fine now though. btw I do like being able to scroll down and read the entire thread that I'm replying to, unlike the other place

I've tried shouting at it, but that's not working either. I might just ignore it for a while and see if it works!!!

I had the same problem for a while too- I think it has something to do with how long you have your log-in set for.

Just suggestions, I'm not very technical either, but it seems it can't hurt to try different things. Like oysters.

I'm having a problem with starting new threads.
A couple of weeks ago I couldn't start new threads from my PC at work (the icons at the top to start new threads wasn't there) but then last Friday I could!
It's something to do with the way these PCs are monitored as the other day I couldn't access gmail/hotmail as they were blocked by websense but then on Friday I could and then when I came on here the icons were back and I could suddenly post threads.
Not sure if it's fixable is it? I know there's a shortcut for replying to threads, is there one to create a new one?
