enjoy, sheila - he's adorable! He sounds and looks like a tough guy on his albums, but in person he's all smiles.

He is great. Some fantastic powerful songs.
Listen out for Negative Vibes, Apple of My Eye and It's All Good - lovely songs.

I couldn't quite get into the disc you sent me, Neon, but maybe it's a grower.

Yeah I'd give it a few plays Sara. Was it Seize The Day?

"Gowin dowin to Dubilin towin...."
He's gone back to ballads with the latest album, I believe. Sure Luke Kelly's done that ages ago. Why try and top perfection?

i don't mind him. in fact, i was quite taken with him that time dusty and i saw him in concert. he's good at the rip roaring dark underbelly side of life. but to even eye up that song, never mind move on to making overtures, and enticing it in to his bed, is nothing short of a hanging offence. it's like sleeping with the.. sleeping with the.. oh i dunno. somebody else finish my sentence for me.

I hate when he does upbeat songs, I oculdn't listen to anything off To Hell Or Barbados but Seize The Day will always remain a favourite of mine.
Haven't heard the covers one yet but I do have it somewhere.

see what you mean kez. the sneaky bollocks caught me with a lovely velvet toned 'hold me' while driving after dark last night. great for smoothing out the kinks in the head while negotiating the humps on the road. the moon being the only other one hard enough to sit it out. nice strings too.
