i've no idea what they look like but just this once, i'm prepared to set aside my longheld view that arguments about music are futile. usually at their most futile when one person says 'i think band x are shite' and the other person says 'i think band x are great'. there's not a whole lota room for discussion between these two statements because it's all down to personal preference. so purely on the merits and substance of the assertions put forward by both camps, i now conclude it is indeed painful how stating a preference doesn't automatically qualify as an immediate hanging offence for the sneered upon; but alas these are the liberal times we live in. that, and appealing to the lowest common demoninator, and the misplaced positioning of chin-stroking as a defence by the morally inferior. in short, those who are at once bereft of common sense and suspiciously bankrupt of taste. in shorter, those who are wrong. i like your contention however grievous. a good solid argument containing two quotes, a plausible violent suggestion, and a reference to masturbation no less. you win *anti ting tings collective makes way to podium to collect award*

the misplaced positioning of chin-stroking as a defence by the morally inferior. Well, that's us put in our place. Ah, but our day will come...(which isn't another masturbation reference; we tingtingers would obviously never stoop so low....).
