OK, I've ordered this CD.
It better be good or....or.....or....I'll...um...leave it to gather dust on the shelf like so many other musical impulse purchases that turned to be a big disappointment.

Still waiting for it to arrive, Hen. I'll be sure to let you know as soon as it does....please don't hit me. Too hard.

I've heard it I've heard it *cowers from whip*. Chilled isn't in it is it! So laid back, almost horizontal.

I didn't like Skinny Love but thought I'd give the album a whirl and I have to say I was pretty impressed. Even Skinny Love is growing on me now. I love Flume as well.

The album's starting to grow on me too. Don't think it's a outstanding as some have made it out to be, though.

The one with the trumpets is a beauty, though. For Emma, is it?

I think so.
Agree about it being a good album but a bit overhyped. Would be interested to hear his next one and see if he can live up to it.

The album is not overhyped, it is perfect *cracks whip* Saw him yesterday and he was brilliant live. Highlight was The Wolves (Act I And II), he made us sing 'what might have been lost' louder and louder during the last bit of the song. Magical. I want to go again.

Sounds great, Hen. Think he's back in Dublin in December, so might go and see him.

Ah I think you should, Michael. You can always just get drunk and throw rotten anchovies at him if you think he's crap; then you'll still have had a fun night out Meh, I'm like a religious extremist with this album; I don't understand how there can be people who don't like it or 'get' it, I won't accept it, and I want to whip all of you until you agree with me. *mutters* when I rule the world...

Dunno, Hen. That might be a waste of a good rotten anchovie.
But, I'll give it some consideration....

Ah well, it would be a waste of a good Bon Iver too. I'm not sure he could concentrate on his falsetto if he was bombarded with rotten fish.

Tsk. And he calls himself a rock star?! Pah! I saw that other high-pitched crooner, Ray Lamontagne, hit a very nice falsetto while playing guitar and being pelted with putrid squid.
Now, that's genius. Follow that, Mr Iver!

Well to be fair, mr. LaMontagne has been in this business a while - he's had seafood flinged at him many times. And I bet he had trouble with his falsetto too, the first time a tin of caviar hit him in the face. So, go easy on Mr. Iver.
