wow. I wasn't expecting a full Frames line-up so that for starters made my night. I loved all the Swell Season stuff but it really was superb having a slightly calmer, sit down Frames style gig also. I took some pics on my little Canon pocket camera so they aren't up to the usual standard Liam Ó Maonlaí from Hothouse Flowers supported and sang several songs in several obscure languages. He still has an incredible voice. In terms of songs, loads of SS stuff plus a few of my old favorites like: What Happens Leave Say it to Me Now When your Mind's Made up Your Face Star Star (with a Mic Christopher song in the middle that I didn't recognise) a STORMING version of Fitzcarraldo Astral Weeks There was lots of Glen alone onstage. I suspect he quite likes the focus to be on him alone © leon neal I loved the little dance Glen and Mar did at one point. Wonderful show, they played for nearly 3 hours and got two immediate standing ovations from the 2000 strong seated crowd at the Barbican. They closed with an old Hothouse Flowers song, I think, which went down a storm. x

I did wonder, cynically, whether that little dance was something they did at every gig 'on the spur of the moment'. Glad to hear it isn't.

ooh and I forgot to say that there was a new song! New to me anyway. Called Happiness. Very nice. i hated that song!! i liked the sentiment when glen explained it but my friend and i looked at each other after the song and were like ewww i liked a different new song but i don't know the name. marketa sang it and all the frames guys did this backing vocals thing at the very end but that was definitely a different song
