that's a great review! I hope you can go to LA some time for gigs and hang out with those fans. Some of my favorite friends are ones I met at gigs. Actually 99% of my friends are people I met at gigs. Good idea to hit the merch table first, they probably sold out of the items laTER.

Those photos are really good, Sara! Haven't got time to read your review as I'm just about to head out, but will definitely read it later - anyway, glad you had a fantastic time ;D

Fantastic review Sara, you really captured the emotion of going to see your favourite band. Oasis are one of those I'd love to go along and see one day just fro the spectacle of it. And Neal Casal was the Cardinal you saw, I'd say

Ah I thought maybe it was Neal I met, but I wasn't sure. Didn't want to say it was him and then be wrong, and it was late when I posted the whole thing and couldn't be arsed to look.
(I wish I could say that phrase --can't/couldn't be arsed-- out loud, btw, without sounding like an idiot. It's so useful, yet so awkward coming from an American I think. That's it. Gotta start the trend.... and I know this isn't the first time I've brought it up. Don't mind me. I, uh, can't be arsed to not repeat myself at times.)
I do reccomend a non-stadium gig for Oasis, for sure. Gave a lot more room to breathe and take it in rather than be concerned with all the idiots shoved in next to you.

I haven't seen this video yet (cos I'm at work) but apparently Noel got ambushed onstage by a demented fan at the V Festival in Toronto: www.nme.com/news/oasis/39549

lol. A friend was there and he was saying that they were all trying to get off the island after it finished and there were 65,000 people and only 400 people could fit on the boat and some drunken Irish lad who had fallen asleep suddenly woke up and shouted "am I still on that feckin island!". heehee.

You kept your trip to Toronto quiet, Sara.... Haha.... Oh that's not how I'd go about it. I'd use my wonderful charm, of course. Though his Sara strikes me as the shoot first ask questions later type, haha. I read about this but I haven't watched the video yet. He seemed to take it mostly good naturedly.

Had to laugh at Liam though. Jumped back at first then sorta pathetically tried to chest bump the guy...haha!

They ended up having to reschedule the last Canadian show since apparently he bruised his ribs pretty badly. Landed right on the monitor... not sure you even have chance to fully catch yourself, coming out of nowhere like that, especially with the guitar on.

Oh yes, and Liam... well not as quick on the uptake anymore, I imagine.

Yeah loved the comments after the video "I like the way Liam makes sure the security guys have got him and then....hold me back hold me back" lol.
They reacted quite quickly didn't they. Not quickly enough to actually stop him running on stage I guess but it was all over in a flash wasn't it.

He introduced “Let It Ride” by saying, “This one’s about sucking face.” That made me laugh.

He seems quite fond of the expression "sucking face," I've noticed.
