Heard it on the radio this morning, that moron Moyles said it was the "best record they've ever made." I'd say that was bollocks. It's sort of interesting though, bit of a departure from what they were doing before. And Brendon is actually singing properly on it.
Anyone heard it?

Haven't heard it. Would seriously doubt they'll make anything better than the singles from the first album, though. Moyles, eh? Tosser. Where's he from again?

Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. He really is a prize knob end. And he has the worst taste in music, really he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near it. Anyone who likes the fucking Kaiser Chiefs really shouldn't be let near a radio station.

I like it. But then I like pretty much anything the Killers do.

I haven't heard it yet. I never loved them but you always find yourself singing along anyway. A bit overrated for me in general but would be interested hearing it anyway.

On second hearing, I think it's a little on the pants side. And bless him, he's never been one for lyrics (I've got soul but I'm not a soldier) but these ones are particularly grim.

I like it still. His voice sounds a bit softer and gentler. They were talking about the lyrics on the radio the other day and pondering how gay they were.

What is it - a Queen cover? Except without the dramatic vocals? I dunno about them at all....

It's a strange one. Sounds like he got rid of the band for the afternoon for that one and sneaked Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe in for a quick session.
Might be a grower.

I like it, but then I'm unashamedly a fan. Even though mr flowers doesn't have the best voice, they're still great live - I think it's the energy of the songs.

Hmmmm, don't go much on it I'm afraid. I felt like singing 'feeeeeeeeed the wooooooorld - do they know it's Christmas time at all' as soon as the music kicked in.

Hmmm, couldn't figure out the dancer or denser thing, but apparently it's dancer:
"Those familiar with the band's oeuvre will recognize their signature in the synth-heavy "Human," four minutes of sweeping, epic rock, on which Flowers sings: "My sign is vital/ My hands are cold/ And I'm on knees, looking for the answer/ Are we human, or are we dancer?" He says the lyrics were inspired by a disparaging comment made by Hunter S. Thompson about how America was raising a generation of dancers. But the song also had some help from album producer Stuart Price (aka Jacques LuCont), known for his work with Madonna and Missy Elliot, and who'd previously remixed "Mr. Brightside." "He was the icing on the cake," says Stoermer. "
I'm not sure if it'll be a favorite of mine, but I'm sure I'll be humming along with it either way.
