Haven't heard of a few of those...!
Don't think it's been a great year for albums but I can never remember what was released when anyway....
Probably the Bon Iver album was my favourite but Fleet Foxes wouldn't be too far behind. Pats on the back also to REM, Lightspeed Champion, Santogold, MGMT, Raconteurs and Vampire Weekend.
I'll probably think of more again soon.....

I didn't buy ten albums this year but I'll list the ones I did like:
1. Felice Brothers - Felice Brothers 2. She & Him - Vol. 1 3. Ryan Adams & The Cardinals - Cardinology 4. Laura Marling - Alas I Cannot Swim 5. Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago 6. Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend 7. Lisa Hannigan - Sea Sew 8. Hot Chip - Made In The Dark
oooh nearly 10. I could add Fleet Foxes and The Ting Tings I guess....

D'oh! Of course, Ryan Adams. She & Him was good too and the Tings Tings had their moments.
Probably a good year for singles, when you think of it. Vampire Weekend had a couple of crackers as did Ting Tings, MGMT's Time to Pretend and Kids and (dare I say it) Girls Aloud's Promise was really good.

Michael!!! Tut tut. Although I can't talk cos I still listen to Girls Aloud's The Show as my getting ready to go out music when there's no one else in the house.
There were some good singles weren't there. I think to be honest that Vampire Weekend's A-Punk was the best single on that album and that's pretty disappointing when you buy the album on the promise of the single.

I don't love you anymore Didn't get much time for music this year, but Bon Iver got me all excited (in a very mellow way). Elbow too, of course.
