She's just turned up on the schedule at one of the better clubs in Boston on March 3. Headlining, even! No mention of a tour on her websites, but I would think more dates should be coming along.

she played a good venue in nyc and it sold out really quick. the tickets were so expensive though, i didn't think it would be worth it. my friend who went said it was an ok show. but she is charging more than anyone else who plays there.

Wow, the tickets for her London show were £15 which wasn't bad really.
She played a nice gig when I saw her. Was a great atmosphere although I don't think her band are really all that good and the sound was pretty shocking. Her drummer Tommo who used to play with Damien Rice as well is very good though.
Worth going along I think. She's certainly developed her solo act quite well, she plays a bit of guitar and harmonium and does some quite quirky dancing which is oddly mesmerising.

Prices haven't been disclosed yet, but $25 would be a lot for this club, especially for someone just releasing a first album. The Frames used to play the same venue until about 2 years ago, and I think tix were $10!
We'll definitely go, Kez. She always added a lot to the Ricer's gigs, and I like her album, so I'm looking forward to seeing if she can hold the stage on her own.

Yeah the album is quite good isn't it? I love Ocean and a Rock and Lille. Think the album artwork is fab too.
Hope you enjoy it bluey!

tix are $12, not pricey at all. Although service charges bring the total to @41.50 for 2 tickets

Good lord. Kinda sounds like the set up over here. I think its hilarious that wihile a lot of other areas of the economy have adapted to the credit crunch, gig tickets still seem to be as pricey as ever. £30 to see Antony and the Johnsons? Bit unfair really considering they're not that well known really.
