needs to change his name. I thought you were referring to Antony Costa from Blue.

What d'you reckon k? On My Knees is nice, very suicide handbook. I'm not sure how arsed I can be with the genre at the moment but it's not bad.

sounds like an exact cross between Ryan Adams and Damien Rice. Really reminded me of Love is Hell AND parts of O.

He LOOKS so unlikely. Face doesn't suit the voice.

I know, I thought that as well. I tried not to look at him. His voice also reminds me a bit of David... what's his name... that one who did that babylon song.

Definitely needs a name change. Although Ryan managed to get away with his near to another crap person moniker.
Ooh its quite lovely. Goddammit I'm a sucker for these sorts of singer songwriters. Damn him.

It's a really nice song isn't it? It reminds me a bit of Wicked Game when he sings "knees" in that high falsetto. It's like David Gray and Ryan Adams collaborating a song sung by the bastard child of Chris Isaak and Damien Rice. Let me know what the album's like.

Had a couple of listens now. Not bad actually. Tis a collaboration with Abbie Gardner so she sings lead vocals on some tracks.

Hmm I still haven't received my copy, even though I got an email a week ago telling me it's been sent. God I hate buying stuff online...

D'you think Anthony Da Costa is essentially an INFP artist? Wonder if JP would like him too.

Post by Kez on Feb 20, 2009 11:31:40 GMT -1
I think this INFP cult could really work you know. We could believe that Diana, Princess of Wales is our leader and that when we all die she'll be waiting to take us on a spaceship to mars. All we have to do is drink the kool-aid.
I haven't done this before, honest.

Oh well Diana would definitely be the natural choice of leader for us. I'm not sure about the spaceship though. Perhaps a giant flying coffin instead, to transport us to 'the dark side'? where Diana would be waiting with special ointment to heal our wounded cores. We could have miserable bastard music on a loop, artists materials, big bags of marijuana and a crowd of sobbing angels to inflict our poetry on.
Actually, you know, that really sounds pretty good.

I'm going to make a sculpture of Diana from clay and our tears for us to worship and bring offerings.

Oooh ok that Abbie Gardner isn't too bad actually. Someday isn't too bad.
*realises no one else is here and she's talking to the weird Diana creature who is our leader and will take us away eventually to a better place*

They've still not sent it? Feckers. I mean I'm not that much further away from you.
P.S. I like our little secret sub-bunker disguised as an Anthony Da Costa thread. We can make our plans to travel on to the next world in secret.

Well I got an email that said it had been sent and I've checked that my address is correct too, but I'm afraid they've gotten confused and maybe think Denmark is the capital of Sweden or something. My poor, defenceless cd could be in Sweden right now P.S. if we wanted to we could even make plans to take over the world.

Not sure about the world Hen, can we muster up the necessary aggression for that do you think? Perhaps we could take over a small field somewhere instead. Somewhere quiet though, where there are no people. People scare me.
