OK...so we have a bunker.....and we're making plans to take over the world.....it's weirdly familiar but I can't think why.
A small field takeover yeah!!!

Okay by the way, the cd arrived today. Dammit, I was rather enjoying whining about not receiving it. Anyway, just put it on and so far I quite like the sound of it. It's just the first listen but it made me realise how much I've missed music with just a voice and a guitar (and maybe a violin or two). And I fucking love his voice. And hers isn't bad either.

Oooh Kez I just peeked at the last.fm software while I listened, and you were listed as the very first person in the 'top listeners' *impressed* ;D

I'm not getting any mass enthusiasm vibes from either of you. Is it just ok? Shall I not bother myself?

I think it needs a few more spins from me to be honest. Isn't grabbing me by the hair and flinging me about the room yet.

It usually takes me ages to get into an album and I've only listened twice now so I can't really say anything yet, except that I still want to keep listening. That I haven't already lost interest is a good sign and I absolutely love the first track, 'Spent'. Think that one's on the myspace page too...

OK having a proper listen now. I think its a nice album, you certainly have to be in the mood.
The lyrics are a little naive but sure that's to be expected as they're both very young. A few weird Ryan references as well - he mentions an easy plateau and there was another Ryan reference as well. Guitar isn't all that accomplished but to be honest its sort of part of its charm.
Its all a bit angsty but still a lot of potential. Would love to see them live. They have a lot of chemistry on record, I'm sure its way more impressive live.

Bartering Lines that was the other Ryan reference.
OK I may have had vodka.

I've had vodka too and I really like it. The cd I mean, not the vodka. Okay I quite like both. But I have the tv on too and Chris de Burgh's 'Lady In Red' came on during some film and I couldn't find the remote and now I'm a bit traumatised.

Spent reminds me of someone I can't place.
I'm vaguely intrigued. I like badly played guitars with angst-driven vocals as a rule. That would be cool thanks kez.
