Or washing my gerbil.
God David Gray really is a bit of a fuck end isn't he. I don't know why I'm surprised really. This really seals it for me:
"More heart. More soul. More songs. More Life".
More cock.

Annie Lennox? Christ. The man has obviously give up. Probably took one look at his fan base on the old board and decided it wasn't worth the effort anymore.
Tenner says the new record is boring.

In fairness, I doubt he had anything to do with that wording. It smacks of Kendall.

I'd buy it if he did a duet with the short guy off Different Strokes.
Actually no I still wouldn't.

Expect lots of guitar noodling and that eye shut fake earnestness and na na na na nana's in abundance.
It sort of feels like an ex that you used to be mad about and now you wonder what you ever saw in them.

ah I have loads of good memories attached to DG, so it's hard to dismiss him entirely. I listened to the last album again the other day and it was better than I remembered.
I am trying not to let the whole Kendall trauma of the other board affect my original affection for DG.

It wasn't the kendall thing that put me off David Gray. It was the fact his last couple of albums were unmitigated shite.

Exactly. I wouldn't let some jumped up Canadian dwarf tell me what music to listen to. Many have tried, none have succeeded.

I don't even know how many albums I've missed? I think the last one I bought (and listened to once) was the one with the hospital song thing? Hmmm. But I know what you mean tc, the old albums meant a lot to me. I do still listen to them from time to time. But that "hungry for more" makes me want to batter him.

Which one was A New Day At Midnight? I bought that one and that was the last one I bought.

Was the last one not Life In Slow Motion? I'd go and check the date on the album if I knew where I'd put it. Think it's in a box in the attic along with all the other disappointments.

they have a contest on the site where you can win tickets to a show in NYC for Dec 4 and it includes plane fare and hotel. but there is no year listed so i think this is old and already happened. oh well. this is funny, it would be funny if they saw katy's old ticket where he wrote 'fuck off' www.davidgray.com/forums/thread/715830.aspx
