Listen to Gold through to the end I think she means No, I meant listen to The End. Honestly, does nobody read my long boring posts?

I love Gold, but there's a couple too many songs on it - the album is just too long. I get about 13 tracks in, then have to change CD. Same story with the Manics' first album.
I'm listening to the radio waiting for the bath to run. I think the song is by Rooney? Not sure what it's called. Too happy for my liking.

Ah the great first Manics album - "Let's make our debut a double album!" Ooops. Currently listening to - the sound of the keyboard clattering as I type.

I've had Sarah McLachlan and Teitur on most of today as I had a girl from the kitchen mag that I shoot for, here all morning and wanted something gentle and unobtrusive. We shot tea towels hanging from a hat rack Wierd weather. Glorious this morning but then massive black clouds and torrential rain, now back to sun.

Right now, all I hear is Grace listen to "The Wheels on the Bus" over and over.
That's enough.
*pops on M.I.A "Jimmy"*
Much better. If I weren't holding a sleeping baby, I'd dance.

Listen to Gold through to the end I think she means No, I meant listen to The End. Honestly, does nobody read my long boring posts? Oh! lol. I had Jacksonville City Nights and I remember listening to it on a very rainy day whilst driving around the Dingle Peninsula and it didn't really make and impression on me. Maybe I should give it another go.

Maybe I should give it another go. You definitely should. It's a proper grower, that one. There are some amazing tracks on there, The End only being one of them. It's VERY country though, not everyone's favourite face of Mr. Adams but decidedly mine. I've been listening to the Iron and Wine / Calexico ep for about a month now. And singing along to KT Tunstall in the kitchen.

oooh, i like this game, this is what my ipod threw up:
bruce, fade away, from the river disc 2
it's the usual bruce story, circa early 80s (i think, my frame of reference might be wrong) -- good guy whose women is cheating, blah, blah, blah.
he's kind of a whiner (like adam duritz) but so, so cute. even now, at 50 something i'd give him a whirl.
Well now you say you've found another man who does things to you that I can't And that no matter what I do it's all over now between me and you girl But I can't believe what you say No I can't believe what you say 'cause baby
(Chorus) I don't wanna fade away Oh I don't wanna fade away Tell me what can I do what can I say Cause darlin' I don't wanna fade away
Well now you say that you've made up your mind it's been such a long, long time since it's been good with us And that somewhere back along the line you lost your love and I lost your trust Now rooms that once were so bright are filled with the coming night, darlin'
(Chorus)
You say it's not easy for you And that you've been so lonely While other girls go out doing what they want to do You say that you miss the nights when we'd go out dancing The days when you and I walked as two Well girl I miss them too Oh I swear that I do Oh girl
Now baby I don't wanna be just another useless memory holding you tight Or just some other ghost out on the street to whom you stop and politely speak when you pass on by vanishing into the night left to vanish into the night No baby
