Mary, I actually have deep sympathy for anyone who irons. Linen is my dream material, I hate ironing so it suits me to a tee! I hear you on the gathered shirt front, I have big boobs as well so they just don't work. I've started thinking about my post baby body (depressing!) so have taken down a bunch of my clothes to wash this week. I have left my skinny clothes in storage and just brought down my medium ones. I did buy this for after baby though as I really liked it: shop.hm.com/gb/campaign?campaign=A71_SPRINGFASHION&page=START_5I won't be bearing my arms, will wear it with some strappy heels and a little cardigan.

my problem with linen is it just gets so wrinkled and sloppy looking, i know that you're supposed to just wear it like that but it makes me crazy. i am an ironer and it's too much maintenance for me. I think you 're supposed to just wear it like that but my ma has some linen pants from j j Jill and they don't look wrinkled

It's terrible when the sun comes out I start to feel like something out of a victorian novel, black skirts, black tights, grey blouse, black cardigan. Or that bird out of The Piano:

it was a great film. i think the female species is divided into women that liked the piano and women that don't.
i haven't worn anything black since march 1....i refuse. it's not even that warm here yet and i still won't. i get so sick of black and brown.

Mmm yeah, quite cheap too. Awful website though, you can't opt to view more than a dozen items at a time, and if you click on something for a closer look and then click back, it takes you back to the 1st page of items again. AND if you then click on another page, say, page 6, it takes you to some other completely unrelated home page. What's with that?

Yeah I noticed that. What it does is check boxes on the left side so you end up looking at shoes AND dresses etc.

ooh they have some nice dresses actually...
It's like Dorothy Perkins have suddenly improved drastically in the last 5 years. New Look however have gone all trashy and nasty.

Yeah those clothes do look cool. I have a flowery Laura Ashley dress from lile 1989 or 1990, I don't know why I have kept it all these years , it prolly doesn't fit me anymore! I had a lovely black velvet and purple silk Laura Ashley dress that I gave to my much thinner cousin. That dress is still in style but there is no way I could fit into it!
