An idea has been floated in the "We Need To Talk About Kevin" thread - a bookclub. We decide on a book every four weeks, read it, and then we can all discuss it. And the beauty is we can all swear about it! ;D
Whaddya think? I for one would really enjoy it. I can't wait to talk about "Kevin" with you all! Book suggestions gratefully received!

Excellent idea! I'm in! I haven't been reading as much as I used to. I'm reading Margret Atwood's "Blind Assassin" right now, and it's quite good. I really want to read that Kevin book though.

Sounds like a good idea, i'm willing to try it see how it goes. Haven't read 'Kevin' yet though. At the minute i'm reading 'Street boys' by Lorenzo Carcaterra.

May I join, too? I have 'Kevin" in a bookcase here - bought it on a whim after reading Kez's recommendation at the other place.

I think I just might stop and pick that book up tomorrow Looks really interesting and it's much more interesting for sure than grading papers!

The book doesn't sound like my cup of tea this month, but I just wanted to say that I love baggy's avatar.

Great idea, Pam! Count me in. Just have to wait for Kevin to wing his way to me from the UK eBay seller I won him off. I'll no doubt read him in a day or so after that, from what I've heard.
I'm in the middle of a few books - just can't get into any of them at the moment. Part way through a Ricky Gervais biography, a Johnny Depp biography and went and bought a Pink Floyd biography a couple of days ago.........also got about 10 pages into one that looks interesting, by Nicola Barker, called 'Darkmans'.
I really should knuckle down and finish one of them!!

Ooh unfortunately I'm still wading through Lonesome Dove, and I will be for a while yet (it's over 900 pages). It's BRILLIANT, however, and I'd recommend it heartily to anyone with a few months to spare. I'd be happy to give Kevin a try once I'm done with it though, although like sara I'm not sure it's really my thing.
